The latest question on everyone's minds has to do with the Sox catcher Varitek. On April 11, Varitek will be turning 36 and if renegotiations don't take place before then, his contract will expire in November. If his contract isn't extended through the Red Sox, there is a good chance that someone else will pick up the catcher since he doesn't seem to be slowing down. (Last updated 2/18/08)

Updates: Feb. 18 - Pitcher Curt Schilling will be working his arm back into shape rather than having surgery on it. His doctor believes the only way he will be able to return is if he goes through with the surgery. A note in his contract states that under the terms of his collective bargaining agreement, the team would be allowed to void his $8 million contract. Schilling is concerned that if he doesn't pitch this year he may never pitch again. (Last updated 2/18/08)
